Okay, y’all were right. I take it all back. Turns out the constant bitching was 100% justified. I’m still holding out hope that a balance patch will soon address the most egregious problems the dlc content introduced. But right now things are totally fucked. Either hosts and phantoms have the overpowered shit and they use it, meaning you also have to use it and still most likely die to spam, or they don’t and you can have a regular fight. If they just get all the stuff like swift slash to the point where a skilled invader using it will beat a three man gank using it, on the basis of that skill, then I think we’ll be okay. But right now, fuck it’s bad out here y’all. Having the extra duped healing items and stuff is helpful, but it does not at all keep pace with the increase in massive anime bullshit I’ve had thrown at me over the past week while invading.

I really need to make a 150 lvl char for pvp. At 400 it’s nothing but magic/incantation spamming. Never ever get fights like this at my level

I disagree I think this is the most broken the pvp has been ever in this game. I played alot when the game had that invisible magic and it was easily countered by strafing everytime you run into anyone. Some of the stuff now you cant do anything you can aee it coming and still not do shit about it. Theres so much spammy nonsense, buggy shit like this and just overtune crap that will instantly put you to sleep if you get hit with a single true combo. The pvp is so fkd right now.

Im in awe, they dropped the dlc right after the pvp savior patch meaning they developed the dlc and the patch at the same time and they DIDNT looked at the dlc while balancing the base game stuff and think "hmph... Maybe this isnt a good idea"

If you run it on magic/sacred infusion it seems to take the scaling for non-physical and apply it to the physical as well, more or less doubling the damage

There's still a lot of casuals playing the game so it isn't THAT bad to invade but the moment those players finish the DLC and move on, oof... It'll SURELY be so fun to constantly fight organized gankers using all the bullshit

pvp is so broken that these bugs are not even a big deal, you're just fairly even since you're fighting 3 to 4 dudes at the same time
